La Gloria Cubana Wavell MaduroSize: 5.0" x 50
Humidor Condition: 67% @ 71°
Overview: This Cigar has a medium brown, silky, and slightly toothy wrapper. Tight invisible seams and almost invisible veins with a nice double cap. It has a faint chocolaty aroma.
Review:
Initial Light: This had a nice taste that slightly resembled the smell of freshly cut cedar. At most a mild cigar with a slightly snug draw and minimal smoke output with a short finish.
First Third: Kept the great woody flavor but moved up to a mild-medium smoke with a pretty good finish. The draw opened up significantly and worked into a wonderful smoke and the burn line was almost razor sharp.
Second Third: Body remained the same but had taken on a sweet taste on top of the wood. Gladly it picked up a bit of pepper on the finish, which was nice to have a little bit of different flavor on the finish.
End: No changes in the actual flavor but the smoke has turned very thick and almost chewy.
Last Comments: Very enjoyable, comfortable smoke that gave me just a hint of a tobacco rush.
Rating: 7/10
