Gurkha Status TopedoSize: 6.5" x 52
Humidor Condition: 68% @ 72°
Overview: This cigar has a spotted medium brown smooth wrapper, tight invisible seams, mild veins, a great triple cap, with a firm even pack. It has a nice tobacco and hay aroma with a little bit of the cedar humidor smell
Review:
Initial Light: Starts with a great draw and perfect smoke output. Flavor is a bitter cocoa with a very short finish and mild body. Great start.
First Third: No change in flavor but a has taken on a long peppery finish with tons of thick chewy smoke. The burn is a bit wobbly but did't require any touch ups.
Second Third: Body went up to a mild-medium. The cocoa flavor has transitioned into a woody taste with nice thick smoke. Enjoyable head rush kicking in.
End: Body has really kicked up a notch and the flavor has transitioned again to a bold coffee-like flavor. The wrapper cracked just above the main band but the binder held just find.
Last Comments: Nothing really special and the flavors weren't as strong as I would like until the end but still a pretty good smoke
